Privacy at Pebblefeed

Information we keep
Pebblefeed stores your email address, subscriptions, content filters, feedback you send, and private reading state, including saved and read posts. We use this information to provide and improve the reader and keep it in sync across your devices.
Sign-in and browser data
A session cookie keeps you signed in. We also use limited browser storage for your appearance preference and temporary reader caching. Sign-in emails are sent only when you request them.
Basic traffic measurement
We collect aggregate information such as page views, referring sites, general country, device type, and page performance. This measurement does not use analytics cookies, local storage, or fingerprinting, and it is not connected to your email, subscriptions, saved posts, or reading history.
Visit totals are approximate, and some visits may be missed when scripts are blocked. Blocking analytics does not prevent you from using the reader.
Services that help Pebblefeed operate
We use service providers for hosting, sign-in email delivery, and basic traffic measurement. They receive only the information needed to perform those functions, such as ordinary connection details or the email address needed to deliver a requested sign-in link.
Your choices
You can manage or export your subscriptions at any time. You can also delete your account from Account settings. Deletion removes your email, subscriptions, filters, feedback, private reading state, votes, reports, and active sessions. Existing comments remain in shared discussions under “Deleted reader.”
Subscription export is an OPML list of sources, not a full account archive. Sign-in challenges expire after 15 minutes, sessions after 30 days, and unfinished import previews after 30 minutes. Active account data remains until you remove it or delete the account. Shared feed entries and anonymized discussion comments may remain after deletion.
Operational logs may retain short-lived request and reliability data under the hosting provider’s settings. Pebblefeed’s structured events omit email, tokens, request bodies, reading history, feed URLs, and comment text. We do not use advertising cookies.
Pebblefeed does not place sponsored posts in your subscription timeline.
